The MMI  Community Band and Jazz Workshop focuses on your needs:

  • Play in a rehearsal workshop to improve your own musicianship

  • Work on your personal fundamentals as a musician

  • Participate in a collaborative model of instruction which utilizes the experiences and talents that each participant brings to the workshop 

  • Perform a concert at the end of the workshop

  • Meet others who are as passionate about music-making as you are

  • Workshop will take place at Cochrane High School

  • Located in the Bow River Valley, just 20 minutes from Calgary, Cochrane is well-known for its charming western culture and recreation opportunities

  • Housing, meals, transportation on your own

  • A group hotel rate of $136 (1-2 people), $144 (3 people), and $152 (4 people) per night at Days Inn in Cochrane has been secured.
